Through our campaigns, we advocate change in laws, human behavior, and enlightenment in the need to protect lives, advance rights, improve welfare, and steward environmental protection.
Animal cruelty has no boundaries, whether through neglect or intentional acts of violence against animals. Statistically, regions of the United States facing economic and educational challenges tend to foster neglect and intentional cruel treatment of animals.

Youth4Animals supports shelters by spiking adoption rates through our Shelter Tours but, more importantly, these tours provide pervasive public student education to prevent this sad epidemic of pet overpopulation.

https://twitter.com/HumaneLA
Topic: The scheduled 10-bear limit bear hunt in Louisana
Louisiana is set to hold a black bear hunting season in December 2024 with a lottery draw for hunting tags and limited harvest in one northeast zone. The zone limit will be 10 bears and the season will end when the limit is reached. The state has seven bear management zones.
The hunt, regrettably, despite our objections, is scheduled to take place this December 2024. The Dept of Wildlife and Fisheries will distribute 10 hunting licenses through a lottery system and allow ten bears to be shot and killed (they say the hunt will be limited to larger males).
The Louisiana black bear is a symbol of our state and deserves to remain protected and shielded from a premature loss of life. We ask our state to allow the black bears to enjoy their lives, free from our intrusions.
However, our work to advocate for the bears will continue.

MISSION:
To promote the humane treatment and responsible care of animals, as well as to save and better the lives of animals by advocating for better animal protection and anti-cruelty laws with lawmakers and government bodies statewide. We must speak for those that cannot speak for themselves while we stand together to protect the animals!!
The only way we can protect the animals is by changing the laws. Animals are considered property so when someone kills or abuses them they get off easy. Also in Court cases, they have no rights because according to the Court system they have the same rights as a tree. Let's fight to get these laws changed now.

https://twitter.com/LEAPyeg
TOPIC: UPATE: #RetireLucy the Elephant in Edmonton Valley Zoo in Canada
Lucy's Edmonton Advocates' Project (LEAP) mandate is increasing the activity and involvement of Lucy's supporters who live in the greater Edmonton area and her supporters around the world!
Lucy has been at the Edmonton Valley Zoo for almost 47 years and turns 49 this year. This is an ominous milestone as zoo elephants rarely survive to their mid forties. Lucy suffers from a number of zoo induced ailments which will shorten her life expectancy. She has no other elephant companions, which is considered cruel by elephant experts due to their highly complex social needs. The harsh Edmonton climate is detrimental to her health and painful for her ongoing arthritis and foot disease.Lucy lives in a tiny concrete cell and is only allowed outdoors for short controlled walks, weather permitting which means many days she never gets out at all.
