Guests will be: Dave Heine- Creator of "Allie's Law" & Dr Nanette Parretto Wagner DVM Co-Founder of "Allie's Law"

https://www.facebook.com/helpalliekat/
TOPIC: Animal Cruelty in Florida- "Allie's Law" - HB 621 & SB 1044
Allie, a 4 year-old Boston Terrier, suffered at the hands of her human caretakers. They left scars on her face, ears and legs. The horrific circumstances that she suffered through had been recognized as a situation of abuse by a veterinarian in the past, yet no authority was notified. Until she was rescued from her abusers no one spoke for her. Violence against animals does not stop with the animal’s mistreatment. Research has found that there is a correlation between animal abuse and abuse among humans, including child and domestic violence.
Animal Cruelty; Citing this act as “Allie’s Law”; defining the term “treatment provider”; providing immunity from criminal and civil liability for certain persons and entities who report animal cruelty; prohibiting the alteration or destruction of certain records, etc.
The current legislation does NOT require a veterinarian to file a report with local law enforcement or animal control when they see clear signs of animal mistreatment. Allie’s Law would change that.

Wild For Change is a platform promoting change for animal welfare and nature through education, legislation, and public awareness.
96 elephants are killed per day, three rhinos are killed per day, and the giraffe population has declined by 80%. Not one ounce of elephant ivory, rhino horn, or giraffe brain or bone do anything to support the advancement of health for the human species. They are being tortured entirely due to greed. They are literally running for their lives every day from trophy hunters and poachers. Trophy hunting is legal in countries such as Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. The more we know and understand what is happening to them, the more we can help protect these precious animals.

The Elephant Advocacy Project(formerly called Savenoseynow.org). TEAP grew out of the successful Facebook group Save Nosey NOW! SNN original goal was to provide sanctuary to Nosey, the elephant, which we were instrumental in doing in November, 2017. We endeavor to educate and provide support for activists and advocates who are interested in closing circuses with animals and zoos who cling to elephant exhibits for profit only. We support the true sanctuary concept for all captive elephants.
TEAP mission is to provide support and advocacy to captive elephants in circuses and zoos in the United States with the ultimate goal of freedom in sanctuary.
