Kris Kelly has loved animals since she was very young. It was when she started volunteering with the Lange Foundation that she realized how many abused and neglected animals there were who needed homes. She vowed to donate her life to helping these furry friends with no voice.
The Kris Kelly Foundation was founded by Kris Kelly after many years of dreaming of her own Non-Profit to save animals from abuse, slaughter, and neglect. The Foundation is taking an approach to not only work for animals but work for people also.
The Kris Kelly Foundation is an animal rescue organization that embraces the elderly and children (that includes teenagers).

TOPIC: Helping Community Cats. What Is Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)?
TNR is the method of humanely trapping feral cats, having them spayed or neutered and vaccinated against rabies, and then returning them to their colony to live out their lives. TNR also involves a colony caretaker who provides food, adequate shelter and monitors the cats’ health. TNR has been shown to be the least costly, as well as the most efficient and humane way of stabilizing feral cat populations.
A colony caretaker is an individual (or group of individuals) who manages one or more feral colonies in a community. The caretaker keeps an eye on the cats, providing food, water, shelter, spaying/neutering and emergency medical care.Some shelters and rescue groups even give out free or low-cost spay/neuter coupons to colony caretakers.

Paws Across America Advocacy (PAAA) works to educate people on how to "vote smart" for animal welfare friendly candidates and provides tools to help locate your reps voting history. See: www.hslf.org Score Cards.  We must all make, constant, contact with our elected officials to communicate what animals need! 
With that being said, the voting public wants better laws for protection, and stiffer penalties for abusers of animal cruelty, neglect and "shelter reform."  PAAA keeps in contact with candidates by emails, letters and phone calls.
