BSL stands for Breed Specific Legislation. It is a law or laws that ban or severely restrict the ownership of a particular breed. These laws declare an entire breed “dangerous or vicious” based on the actions of a few members of the breed.  Breed specific laws are often a knee-jerk reaction from politicians who want to say they are “doing something” to stop dog bite incidents and fatalities. These changes in laws tend to happen after a highly publicized dog attack takes place. These highly publicized attacks bring about a “perceived” need for more stringent laws governing the restraint of dogs. We all want to prevent dog attacks; however, breed specific laws have proven to be ineffective in the reduction of dog bite incidents. Breed specific laws do not protect communities from fatal dog attacks and/or dog bite injuries.
We will not give up the fight no matter how long it takes or where it may take us. Truth and justice is on our side and we shall prevail. For this we ask your support to be able to carry on our mission. These sentient beings are voiceless on their own but their undying plea is being heard worldwide by the likes of MCABSL!

Animal Wellness Action is a 501(c)(4) organization with a mission of helping animals by promoting legal standards forbidding cruelty. We champion causes that alleviate the suffering of companion animals, farm animals, and wildlife. 
Today, March 14, 2019 Washington, D.C. – U.S. Reps. Paul Tonko (D-NY), and Andy Barr (R-KY), who represent two of the meccas of American thoroughbred racing - Saratoga Springs and Lexington Legislation introduced for the Horseracing Integrity Act to end the doping of American race horses and create a uniform national standard for drug testing that would be overseen by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).
“Horse should run on hay, oats, and water, not on a cocktail of performance enhancers and medications,” said Marty Irby, executive director of Animal Wellness Action.

The W-Underdogs is an innovative grassroots nonprofit that pairs underserved youth with animals in need. Our program helps youth at risk for gang involvement in the Peoplestown / South Atlanta neighborhoods gain leadership, responsibility, life skills, and compassion as they use teamwork to train and care for animals. They become empowered to make positive changes at school, home and in their community through advocacy and direct action.
The W-Underdogs goal every day will be to address the challenges that disadvantaged at-risk youth face and provide them with the skills and sense of accomplishment to help them overcome the challenges in their lives. We believe that the W-Underdogs program will energize the families, kids and in turn, contribute to a better community both short and long term. 
Our doghouses are made from recycled material kids find in the neighborhood.  We are always looking for partners to help us with materials, waterproofing, hinges, screws, glue and sealants.  Always collecting dog houses for our outreach program.

Humane Mushing is the practice of sled dog sports and sled dog husbandry wherein the welfare of the dog is put first above all else.Humane Mushing emphasizes being guardian (rather than owner) to a small number of dogs and including these dogs in your everyday life as members of your family just as you would any other dog.
At the home of someone participating in humane mushing, you won't find any chains or old plastic dog houses with holes gnawed in them. Instead, you'll find working sled dogs living in the house alongside their musher and other teammates. 
Mission: To promote the concept of humane mushing and to change the sled dog racing community's accepted practices of abuse, neglect and mass production of dogs in the name of sport.
General Information: The purpose is to foster an understanding for the concept of  "humane mushing" and move to change all sled dog sports universally over time for the better - for the dogs.

Dallas animal advocates and rescuers have found hundreds of abused, tortured and ultimately murdered dogs thrown in garbage bags and tossed on the side of the road on and near Dowdy Ferry Road in Southeast Dallas. The horrible result of dog fighting, animal abuse and a suspected animal serial killer or killers. The problem there is unprecedented and these heroic rescuers are fighting to save these dogs and bring justice to the monsters who are doing this.
It’s a horrifying mystery in the Dallas area: Who is dumping the bodies of hundreds of animals, and even a person, along Dowdy Ferry Road? Dallas resident Jeremy Boss spent over the last 4 years collecting, counting and crying over the bodies of dogs, cats, goats, cows, horses, roosters and other birds he’s found along this stretch of road in South Dallas.

Sir Snowy Cat and Sir Snowy Projects mission is dedicated to helping abandoned, abused, and disabled kitties find happiness and a forever home. Those who show an aptitude to become therapy or service cats are certified and are available to private homes for free or work with kids and adults with special needs. We are a non-profit and donation driven. 
Sir Snowy Projects has three main project divisions.Two of the projects are for-profit, ‘Sir Snowy Animal Assisted Therapy Center’ for Children and Adults with special needs and ‘Caffè Mici Amici’, serving the community and offering the customers an opportunity to interact with cats, the third ‘Sir Snowy Cat Sanctuary’, a non-profit, deriving support from donations and residual income from the for-profit ventures. The Cat Sanctuary forms an integral part of the Therapy Center as cats that show potential as cat therapists will be certified and and utilized at the center. An on-site on-site Veterinary Treatment Center and an Education Amphitheater for Educational Outreach Programs complete the project.

Who is ACTi?
Animal Cruelty Task Force International (ACTi) is a volunteer organization, co-founded by Nikki Bauer and Joe Velez Sr., focused on animal abuse. Our goals (regarding animal welfare) involve education, community outreach, working with local authorities as well as our local rescues and shelters. In order for conditions and behavior to improve, education is a must. We will speak for all animals. We receive tips and information on many forms of abuse/neglect, dog fighting, dumped and loose/strays and even those that may be found deceased.
"In order for change to happen, you must ACT"
We need more who care. We see you out there who care and want things to change. You CANNOT make change sitting on the sidelines. You want change, YOU make change!
ACTi is looking for members all the time all over the world. We can never have too many members. The abusers need to be stopped. The dogfighters need to be stopped. The backyard and puppy mill breeders need to be stopped. The terrible owners who leave their dogs in the cold or a hot car need to be stopped. Bully breed discrimination needs to be stopped. BSL needs to be stopped. You want in? We want you!
