ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY FOR NOSEY THE ELEPHANT IN A SANCTUARY! CELEBRATION! JOY! Nosey has been enjoying freedoms that she hasn’t had since she was 2 years old! Her life before confiscation had been a living hell - without family, without good nutrition and exercise, and without the freedom of choice. Her life changed in the wee hours of November 10, 2017, when she was taken out of bondage and transferred in luxury to The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee.

WHAT IS HUMANE MUSHING?
Humane Mushing is the practice of sled dog sports and sled dog husbandry wherein the welfare of the dog is put first above all else.Humane Mushing emphasizes being guardian (rather than owner) to a small number of dogs and including these dogs in your everyday life as members of your family just as you would any other dog.
At the home of someone participating in humane mushing, you won't find any chains or old plastic dog houses with holes gnawed in them. Instead, you'll find working sled dogs living in the house alongside their musher and other teammates. 
Mission: To promote the concept of humane mushing and to change the sled dog racing community's accepted practices of abuse, neglect and mass production of dogs in the name of sport.
General Information: The purpose is to foster an understanding for the concept of  "humane mushing" and move to change all sled dog sports universally over time for the better - for the dogs.

Megan Caputo has also been an animal advocate for most of her life. First in her personal life and then in her professional life. Megan is currently the general counsel for the Miami Coalition Against Breed Specific Legislation and is assisting in ending the decades long "Pit Bull" ban.  
In addition to her work with the Coalition, Megan Caputo also assists the public with their animal cases ranging from simple off leash violations to more complex seizures and dangerousdog determinations.

        Baby Cooper's Law: a Federal Initiative to End Vehicular Heatstroke/Cold Car Death of Kids & Dogs
Baby Cooper's Law is an effort to achieve a Federal initiative to end the hot car deaths of children, dogs, the elderly, and other incapacitated persons .Named in honor of Baby Cooper Harris who died after being left in a hot vehicle where temperatures exceeded 140 degrees for more than 8 hours.
The 1st part of BCL will make it a Federal Felony charge to leave a child under the age of 8, a dog or animal, an elderly or incapacitated person in a vehicle unattended when outside temperatures exceed 70 degrees Farenheit or go below 35 degrees.
2018 Hot Car Deaths- 48 Dead Kids and 4 Dead Police Dogs...We were sitting at the 3rd DEADLIEST YEAR IN 20 YEARS 
The Gladiators Mission is to keep the car a safe place for kids and animals as well as others unable to care for themselves.
